Associated Logging Contractors of Idaho Endorse Scott Bedke to be Idaho’s Next Lieutenant Governor
Boise, IDAHO – The Associated Logging Contractors of Idaho (ALC) is announcing a full endorsement of Scott Bedke’s campaign to become Idaho’s next Lieutenant Governor. Shawn Keough, Executive Director for ALC of Idaho, says Bedke’s consistent and conservative results are a massive benefit for Idaho businesses and families.
“The Idaho Loggers PAC heartily endorses Speaker Bedke to become Idaho’s next Lieutenant Governor. Scott’s background in a multi-generational family ranching business mirror and reflect the values held by multi-generational logging and trucking families,” said Keough. “Businesses in Idaho’s natural resources sector have benefitted under Scott’s conservative leadership and dedication to limited government.”
As a fourth generation Idaho rancher and the longest-serving Speaker in state history, Bedke led the charge to put Idaho’s conservative values into policy. As Speaker, Bedke helped balance the budget and create a record surplus in Idaho. Bedke has also fought back against federal overreach, protecting Idaho’s land and water rights.
“The byproducts of timber are used by every Idahoan,” said Bedke. “Loggers and truckers are skilled, essential, and crucial players in Idaho’s economy. I am proud to be endorsed by the ALC of Idaho and will continue working with them as Idaho’s next Lieutenant Governor.”
