Idaho Chiefs of Police Association Endorses Scott Bedke to be Idaho’s Next Lieutenant Governor
Boise, IDAHO – The Idaho Chiefs of Police Association (ICOPA) is proudly endorsing Scott Bedke to become Idaho’s next Lieutenant Governor.
Mark Estess, Executive Director of ICOPA, remarked, “Scott Bedke has had a close working relationship with the law enforcement community here in Idaho for decades. Scott has earned our trust, respect, and support. He is a man of integrity, core values, and unsurpassed experience.”
“Under Scott Bedke’s conservative leadership, Idaho’s law enforcement officers have always had a strong and effective voice in the Idaho Legislature. Bedke has good judgement and truly understands the needs and complex challenges our officers face in the field,” said Estess. “Bedke is willing to hear us out on local, regional, and statewide issues, while at the same time helping us solve existing and emerging policy challenges. ICOPA is proud to back Scott Bedke!”
Bedke is the only Lieutenant Governor candidate who consistently votes to fully fund law enforcement. As a member of the Esto Perpetua task force, Bedke works with law enforcement across Idaho to enforce immigration laws, stop the flow of drugs, and ultimately protect Idaho families.
“It has never been hard for me to support law enforcement. Here in Idaho, we back the blue, and we aren’t afraid to say it,” said Bedke. “As Speaker, I led the charge against efforts to defund the police.
