Idaho Wool Growers Association Endorses Scott Bedke to be Idaho’s Next Lieutenant Governor

Boise, IDAHO – The Idaho Wool Growers Association is announcing its endorsement of Scott Bedke to become Idaho’s next Lieutenant Governor. Bedke has been a leading advocate for Idaho’s agriculture industry, both as a fourth generation Idaho rancher and Speaker of the House of Representatives.

“As a fourth-generation rancher, Scott Bedke knows first-hand the hard work, dedication, and patience it takes to get the job done. Scott has a deep appreciation and understanding for the key role agriculture plays in our state’s economy and has fought to protect our land and water rights,” said IWGA Executive Director Liz Wilder. “He is a great problem solver that isn’t afraid to discuss the tough issues and find common ground with others.”

As Speaker of the most conservative legislature in the country, Bedke led the charge to protect our land and water rights, successfully negotiated long-standing water dispute, and worked to put Idaho’s shared conservative values into policy. That includes historic tax cuts, balancing the state budget, and cutting red tape to make Idaho the least regulated state in the nation.

“It’s a privilege to be endorsed by the hardworking members of the Idaho Wool Growers Association,” said Bedke. “Much like their work, Idaho needs leaders who will protect the flock. For years, I have worked to ensure Idaho is the best place to live, to work, and to raise a family. As your next Lieutenant Governor, I am committed to protecting the Idaho Way.”
